The bright red fruits of Merlot become apparent as the wine opens, melding with the chocolate into black currants with hints of sage and plum reduction. The palate’s structured mouthfeel of Cabernet Sauvignon hangs on through the finish accented with a spicy note, compliments of the Petit Verdot.
